A warm, multifunctional family home in North London gets a serene, sculptural dining space – with our Hamilton chairs taking centre stage in this elegant project by Sagit W.A Interiors.
The dining room featuring the Hamilton chairs
Tucked away in the suburb of Muswell Hill, this full-home styling project by Sagit W.A Interiors is a testament to how thoughtful design can support both beauty and daily life. Created for a young family, the space had to be calm, cohesive, and full of personality – with plenty of room to gather, create, and connect. For the dining area, Sagit turned to us to source the Hamilton dining chairs, selecting them for their refined silhouette, tactile softness, and enduring comfort.
“This home was designed for a warm, connected family lifestyle – with spaces that flow naturally but also allow for quiet moments and flexibility,” Sagit explains. “My vision was to create design continuity across these zones, and we achieved that through matching custom joinery and a warm grey wall tone throughout.”
The dining space is cleverly integrated into the home’s open-plan layout, sitting in parallel to the kitchen and adjacent to the living area. Custom carpentry plays a key role here: a built-in wall unit combines bench seating with hidden storage, open shelving, and even a dedicated craft table where the children can play or draw while parents cook or entertain.
To anchor this multifunctional zone, Sagit layered textures and tones with a careful eye. The foundation is a natural oak floor, complemented by a soft striped rug that brings subtle movement to the scheme. A palette of taupe, beige, and greige creates a soothing atmosphere, punctuated with natural materials – from linen and ceramic accessories to wood finishes and handmade textiles.

For Sagit, selecting the right dining chairs was about striking the perfect balance between sculptural beauty and genuine comfort – something our Hamilton chairs deliver with ease. “The Hamilton chairs struck the perfect balance between comfort and elegance,” Sagit says. “They brought a light, graceful form to the room and harmonised beautifully with the soft greige walls and joinery – which was painted in Egyptian Cotton by Dulux.”
Designed by Morten Georgsen, the Hamilton chair is defined by its organic curves, slim waist, and embracing seat shape – crafted to deliver all-day comfort. Whether used in a dining setting or as an office chair, Hamilton’s versatility and style make it a designer favourite. Available in a range of configurations, the Hamilton seat can be specified in durable moulded plastic for a sleek, minimalist look, or fully upholstered with elegant stitch detailing for added warmth and texture – as chosen for this project.
The base options also offer flexibility: from slim, tubular metal legs for a modern aesthetic, to wooden legs that bring a softer, natural feel, or a swivel base for more functional or dynamic settings. For this space, the upholstered version with slim metal legs helped preserve the airy, elegant feel Sagit envisioned.
“Their sculptural form worked beautifully with the gentle curves and lightness we were aiming for,” she explains. “And the comfort was just as important – this is a family that loves to linger at the table together.”
