Meet the Team: Jenna

BoConcept Trade & Contract team in London is the B2B division of the internationally recognised brand, delivering furnished solutions across the residential, commercial, and hospitality sectors. We all know that it’s ‘the people’ that make a team what it is and drive its success. So, we want to give you a little snapshot of the individuals who make it all happen. Last month we introduced you to Michael, and this month we would like to introduce you to Jenna, who is our Trade and Contract Administrator, the one who makes it all happen behind the scenes...

Jenna Farmer – Trade & Contract Administrator

Talk us through your typical day...
A typical day for me often varies, as there is a lot of planning that goes on behind the scenes to make sure our department runs smoothly. Generally, my day would include discussing and organising logistical requirements with our clients for upcoming deliveries and installations. I also regularly track and monitor delivery and installation schedules for our larger B2B projects to make sure everything is on track. I often spend time creating and providing specific documentation required for upcoming projects and exhibitions.

What can be the most challenging part of your role?
One of the most important challenges, and the key part of my role, is to ensure that everything is delivered on schedule. We are fortunate that our headquarters in Denmark have a very reliable distribution setup, which makes my job a lot easier. Since moving into the trade team after many years with the retail department, I have also had to build new relationships with each of our designers. This began as quite a daunting task considering we have many clients, but has turned out to be a really positive experience. I now have a clear understanding of the best way to assist our clients with their various projects and orders.

What do you like most about the BoConcept brand?
I have great admiration for Danish design and the timeless versatility that it offers in the modern world of furniture. Working for BoConcept, it’s great to know that all the hard work I put into the logistics of a project will help to create many beautiful homes and spaces! The respect for the brand is evident throughout the company, and I love working with so many designers who are passionate about what they do and what the brand can offer.

Describe your perfect weekend?
A perfect weekend for me would be one spent camping with my fiancé and two young girls. We love to cook, go for long forest walks and play games.
