Modern Heritage Design takes flight at Harrods Aviation, Luton

We are delighted to share our recent installation for Harrods Aviation, where we have designed and furnished the reception and VIP lounge areas at their facility in Luton Airport. This prestigious undertaking allowed us to blend our modern design sensibilities with the rich heritage of the Harrods brand, resulting in a sophisticated and welcoming space for travellers to comfortably relax in style before boarding their flight.

Harrods Aviation is the leading London based business aviation service provider and offers high quality Fixed Based Operating services at London Luton and Stansted airports, where we also furnished the Knightsbridge Lounge last year. With over 60 years of aviation experience, Harrods Aviation embodies the excellent service standards for which its namesake Knightsbridge store is renowned.

After already being part of the Harrods family for the past 17 years, our contemporary designs fit seamlessly into the VIP lounges at Luton airport. 

This project is a natural fit for BoConcept and Harrods, given our long-standing partnership. Since opening our concession in Harrods in 2007, we have enjoyed the collaboration built on shared values of excellence, style, and innovation. This 17 year relationship has allowed us to deeply understand the Harrods brand, enabling us to deliver a design that truly resonates with their identity.

Staying true to the Harrods brand, the carefully curated selection of furnishings subtly reflect the colour palette the prestigious name is known for. 

The design approach for this project was rooted in honouring Harrods' esteemed brand. We meticulously curated a colour palette that reflects the elegance and luxury synonymous with Harrods. Rich hues, including deep greens, tan accents, and timeless neutrals, were chosen to create an atmosphere of refined comfort. This palette not only pays homage to Harrods' iconic brand but also enhances the modern heritage style we aimed to achieve.
