Shaping the Future of Urban Rentals in Berlin

In Berlin’s fast-paced rental market, design and convenience rarely go hand in hand. But with Tenitt’s innovative letting model and the creative input of our Berlin design team, a new standard for contemporary urban living has been set.

Led by our Berlin team, this collaboration with Tenitt brings together their innovative approach to digital lettings with a commitment to refined, liveable design. The result is a new kind of rental experience—efficient, elegant, and ready to welcome residents from the moment they step through the door.

A design-led partnership

Bringing this vision to life required a thoughtful balance of aesthetic integrity and everyday practicality. Berlin based BoConcept interior designer, Jens-Christian Nørmark, embraced the character of the Berlin property—a space with high ceilings, period charm, and generous natural light. “For us at BoConcept, design is much more than only creating furniture,” he shares. “We try to keep and adapt the genuine comfort and personality of the project. In this case, it was important not to over-design, but to allow the apartment’s original features to speak. We wanted the space to feel stylish and genuinely inviting—true to Berlin’s dynamic spirit.” The goal of this project was to let the architecture breathe while integrating furniture and accessories that enhance daily life—visually and practically.

A harmonious composition

The open plan living and dining area features carefully curated pieces that balance form and function: the white Bolzano sofa and matching armchairs, paired with the Tivoli coffee table’s organic silhouette, offer a light, contemporary feel. The Santiago dining table with ceramic top is matched with Seoul chairs—a subtle nod to Danish design heritage—and complemented by the Santiago sideboard for effortless storage.

The character of the home continues in the bedroom with the Lugano bed and Lugano double dresser in matte ash grey. A quiet nook by the window becomes a tranquil retreat, furnished with the Princeton armchair, Bornholm coffee table, and Eden footstool. Throughout the home, gallery artworks such as Climbing Barricades, Organic Craft, and Form of Line provide depth and artistic expression.

This project represents more than just furnishing apartments—it’s about creating spaces that are lived in with intention. Philipp Syrianos, Founder and CEO of Tenitt sums it up: “For us, it is essential that our apartments are flexible, practical, and designed with love. And that’s why we chose a partnership with BoConcept.”
