Set the scene with a simple look that incorporates personal, seasonal effects that are subtle without compromising on a clean aesthetic. Avoid overly themed decorations and rely on the smaller, simpler details to add the festive touch. Elements from nature are the perfect decorative accent; think pinecones, mistletoe, holly, and rustic twigs.
Get the mood lighting right with background lamps, low hung pendants, and twinkly decorative lighting.
TWINKLE TWINKLE
The most effective way to create a cosy atmosphere around the table is to keep a low-lit room and include an array of crackling candles and twinkly lights. Feature candles at different heights and levels with background lamps to give a bit more functional lighting during the occasion.

A tonal colour scheme makes for a perfect backdrop for comfort and cosines. Thinking in complete tones and cohesions, choose shapes and colours that come together and complement each other harmoniously.
