At BoConcept, we recently had the pleasure of furnishing Tap Del Bar, a vibrant restaurant in the heart of Herning, Denmark. Known for its warm ambiance and welcoming charm, Tap Del Bar needed a design that would balance comfort with a touch of refined elegance, creating an ideal setting for social gatherings and intimate dining.
At Tap Del Bar, the dark, moody backdrop provides a striking foundation for the restaurant's design. A modern edge that feels both sophisticated and intimate, with true Danish design heritage shining through in the furniture selection.
Our approach began with selecting furniture that could withstand the demands of a high-traffic environment without compromising on style. For seating, we chose pieces that embody BoConcept’s dedication to ergonomic design and durability. A mix of our Adelaide, Hamilton, and Vienna dining chairs, with their distinct curves and resilient fabrics, adds an inviting softness that complements the restaurant’s moody ambience. The chairs minimal footprints allowed for flexibility in seating arrangements, catering to both large groups and intimate diners.
To enhance Tap Del Bar’s entry area, we introduced our Nawabari stools in bold green and yellow tones, creating a dynamic and flexible waiting space that is as functional as it is inviting. The vibrant hues of the stools serve as a striking contrast to the restaurant’s darker palette, instantly drawing the eye and signalling a warm welcome to guests.
The Nawabari stools’ versatility is not only practical but also enhances the restaurant’s overall aesthetic, as their bold colours punctuate the moody backdrop with elements of Danish charm and vibrancy.
These Nawabari stools add a playful, modern touch to the space, making the waiting area feel like an extension of the bar itself rather than just a transitional zone. Available in various colours, they add a burst of energy to the environment, while their compact design allows for easy reconfiguration. This flexibility means that the stools can adapt effortlessly to the flow of patrons, providing additional seating during busy times or creating a more open space when needed.
To extend the cosy yet sophisticated ambiance of Tap Del Bar to its outdoor space, we incorporated pieces from our Cancun collection, specifically chosen for their ability to create an inviting al fresco environment that feels like a natural extension of the indoor dining area. The Cancun collection’s design, characterised by clean lines, comfortable cushions, and durable materials, perfectly complements the relaxed, stylish atmosphere that Tap Del Bar is known for.
The Cancun chairs and tables add a touch of elegance to the patio, with materials that withstand the Danish elements while maintaining an air of refined comfort.
Our team also ensured that the colour palette aligned seamlessly with Tap Del Bar’s aesthetic vision. The result is a harmonious space where Danish design meets the social spirit, inviting Herning locals and visitors alike to experience a taste of contemporary comfort.
