Milano’s concept is rooted in creating not just a product, but a living landscape. As [Claudio Bellini](https://claudiobellini.com) explains “When I design a sofa, I don’t just think of it as a place to sit – I’m interested in designing a place.” This means a centrepiece that can shape the feel of a hospitality lounge, residential lobby, premium workspace, or high-end apartment with equal success.   ## Versatility through modularity The [Milano sofa](https://www.boconcept.com/en-gb/discover/sofas/milano-collection/)’s modular design offers one of our most comprehensive configuration systems to date. Trade clients can tailor layouts to suit different footprints, from compact city apartments to expansive open-plan areas. Its adaptable aesthetic works in both classic and contemporary interiors, while functional flexibility allows for arrangements ranging from formal seating to relaxed lounge settings. With interchangeable elements including fixed or free cushions, adjustable arm and back heights, and generous seat depth, Milano provides design freedom without losing its architectural clarity.   ![AW25 SET 2 0148](https://boconceptcontract.com/hs-fs/hubfs/AW25%20SET%202%200148.jpg?width=780&height=559&name=AW25%20SET%202%200148.jpg) *New Milano corner sofa with Milano coffee and side table*   ## Danish precision, Italian warmth Milano’s “skeleton and skin” approach combines a clean, minimal exterior with an ultra-soft, inviting interior, striking the perfect balance between structured form and emotional comfort. Bellini’s inspiration draws on Danish craftsmanship and simplicity, paired with Italian boldness and warmth. The result is a refined, globally appealing design language that adapts seamlessly across residential, hospitality, and corporate environments.   ## Marble tables for statement spaces Completing the Milano collection is a series of [marble coffee](https://www.boconcept.com/en-gb/p/milano/3707140-4:0727/) and [side tables](https://www.boconcept.com/en-gb/v/milano/3707130-4:0727/), designed with the same architectural discipline and proportion as the sofa. For trade clients, their KD (knock-down) construction ensures easy transport and installation, while their tactile, sculptural presence delivers visual weight without compromising flexibility. Made from durable natural stone, the tables bring timeless appeal and a sense of permanence to any space.   ![AW25 set 35 001654](https://boconceptcontract.com/hs-fs/hubfs/AW25%20set%2035%20001654.jpg?width=780&height=470&name=AW25%20set%2035%20001654.jpg) *Matching Milano coffee table and side table*   Longevity is key – both in design relevance and structural integrity. Milano’s timeless silhouette, high-quality construction, and modular adaptability ensure it can evolve alongside changing client needs and space requirements. From boutique hotels and private residences to premium office lounges, Milano offers a design solution that delivers both aesthetic impact and practical functionality.
