A premium new development in Madrid, [Nera Living](https://www.nera-living.com/en) brings together contemporary architecture, refined interiors, and vibrant communal spaces – with our Danish design furniture providing a seamless blend of style and durability. Developed by [Greystar](https://www.greystar.com), the project sets a new benchmark for urban living, designed to meet the pace of modern city life while fostering a strong sense of community.

## Designing for the modern city dweller

In a city that moves at full speed, Nera Living offers an oasis of calm and connection. Across 339 apartments, ranging from elegant studios to generous one and two-bedroom layouts, each home has been thoughtfully conceived to maximise space, light, and flow. Intelligent layouts and clean-lined finishes create an aesthetic that is as functional as it is beautiful.

“We wanted to create a place where residents feel a true sense of belonging,” shares John Grubb, Asset Manager at Greystar. “The combination of elegant living spaces and vibrant communal areas is designed to support wellbeing and foster relationships.”

## Furniture that works as hard as it looks

The role was to furnish both private apartments and shared spaces with pieces that could withstand daily use while maintaining a timeless, inviting aesthetic. Each interior scheme was carefully considered to reflect the needs of the space and the lifestyle of its future residents.

In the studio apartments, the [Modena](https://www.boconcept.com/en-gb/discover/sofas/modena/) sofa, [Santiago](https://www.boconcept.com/en-gb/p/santiago/370ad43-2:316-9:0702-13:0702/) coffee table, [Hamilton](https://www.boconcept.com/en-gb/p/hamilton/402d195-9:0075-14:6153/) dining chairs, and [Lugano bed](https://www.boconcept.com/en-gb/p/lugano/378clw0-5:0115-9:0115-16:64-20:2/) combine light, neutral tones with airy silhouettes, creating a bright and welcoming atmosphere.

The one-bedroom apartments feature the softly rounded [Bolzano](https://www.boconcept.com/en-gb/discover/sofas/bolzano/) sofa, paired with the Santiago coffee table and [Bermuda footstool](https://www.boconcept.com/en-gb/p/bermuda/4989032-2:165-14:8063/) for a relaxed living zone. Storage is seamlessly integrated through the [Lugano wall system](https://www.boconcept.com/en-gb/p/lugano/380ua00-4:0115/), while the bedroom is anchored by a Lugano bed and [Expose side table](https://www.boconcept.com/en-gb/p/expose/104_11033600-1:6-2:261/), offering both function and understated style.

In the two-bedroom residences, the structured elegance of the [Carmo](https://www.boconcept.com/en-gb/discover/sofas/carmo/) sofa sets the tone, complemented by the [Santiago dining table](https://www.boconcept.com/en-gb/p/santiago/3705480-2:328-9:0702-13:0715/) and Hamilton dining chairs. Natural materials and warm finishes here create a sense of understated luxury – perfect for entertaining or unwinding at home.

“BoConcept’s design and durability aligned perfectly with what we envisioned for Nera Living,” says Juan Navarro, Development Director at Greystar.

In high-use environments, furniture must be more than stylish – it must be resilient. Each piece in Nera Living was selected for its ability to enhance the space visually while delivering the comfort and longevity residents expect.

## Where private and communal spaces meet

Beyond the individual homes, residents enjoy an impressive array of shared amenities. A rooftop skylounge with panoramic city views, a pool for warm summer days, a fully equipped gym, a cinema room, coworking spaces, and lively social clubs all contribute to a lifestyle that extends far beyond the apartment door.

Every communal area has been designed with the same attention to detail as the residences, creating a sense of continuity and cohesion throughout the development. Professional management ensures these spaces remain welcoming, secure, and meticulously maintained.

Whether in the privacy of a resident’s home or in the bustle of a shared lounge, our pieces help set the tone for life at Nera Living – sophisticated, welcoming, and made to last.

By marrying Greystar’s vision for community-focused living with our expertise in functional, beautiful furniture, Nera Living has created something rare in the heart of Madrid: a place that feels equally suited to moments of solitude, social connection, and the rhythm of everyday urban life.
