Elevating Hospitality Spaces: Industry Leaders join BoConcept for an Insightful Roundtable
We recently had the pleasure of collaborating with Hotel Designs to host an insightful roundtable event at the prestigious Harrods Aviation in Luton. This exclusive gathering brought together some of the most influential leaders in the hospitality design industry to discuss the rapidly growing movement of incorporating premium retail brands into hospitality interior design.
We were fortunate to be joined by Bergman Interiors, David Collins Studio, JK Interiors, Sparc Studio, Cheval Collection, 3Stories, Chapman Taylor, Design LSM, and Wimberly Interiors.
The event kicked off with a warm welcome from our Head of Business Development, Michael Effenberger, and continued by bringing our design masterminds together for a vibrant open discussion before a spot of lunch and a tour of Harrods Aviation. We were fortunate to have in attendance designers who have created some of the world's most iconic hospitality designs. From The Ritz, Hilton and Waldorf Hotels to international airports and superyachts. Our guest’s portfolio combined has an outstanding array of successful projects!

The core of the conversation centred around what premium retail brands can bring to the table in hospitality settings. We had a dynamic discussion around how luxury brands can elevate the guest experience through high-quality, style and recognition. The discussion touched on the importance of brand reputation and trust. Using established brands in hotel interiors can instil confidence in guests, knowing they are surrounded by quality and style they recognise and trust. From fragrances, toiletries, furniture, linen artwork and beyond.

The design leaders shared their valuable experiences and insights on the topic and one of the key takeaways was the idea that so long as cost, comfort and durability are in line with industry expectations, premium brands can seamlessly blend into hospitality settings, creating spaces that are not only visually appealing to the end user but also highly practical for its required use. This synergy is essential in hospitality design, where the guest experience is paramount. The integration of premium brands can set new standards for luxury in the industry, in particular, furniture.
Harrods Aviation graciously hosted our roundtable event with Hotel Designs, where we recently furnished their exclusive guest lounge.
We extend our gratitude to all the industry leaders who participated in the event, as well as Harrods Aviation for hosting us all for the day. We are thrilled to be at the forefront of this exciting movement, and we look forward to continuing to innovate and inspire in the world of hospitality design.
