We're delighted to welcome Katie Peill to our Trade & Contract team as our new Sales & Operations Coordinator.
Katie Peill
Katie moved to London from Vancouver Island, Canada, with her partner in January and joined us at the beginning of April. Every successful contract scheme needs someone holding the thread: the person who keeps specification, stock, timelines and delivery moving in the same direction. For our build-to-rent clients across the UK, that person is Katie.
Katie's route to us has taken in hospitality, finance and e-commerce, and the thread running through each role is the same: coordination and client communication at the centre.
In hospitality, she coordinated restaurant operations, an environment where pace and complexity are part of the daily rhythm. In finance, she became a trusted point of contact, managing client documentation and information with care. In e-commerce, she supported clients with online solutions for their businesses, overseeing projects from the initial brief through to execution.
Day to day, Katie supports clients with their purchase requests, primarily for build-to-rent properties across the UK. She helps source from our furniture package selection, supports new configurations within a scheme, and coordinates our wardrobe and window dressing services, so a finished apartment feels considered from the sofa to the curtains.
Behind that sit enquiries, quoting and invoicing, and the careful alignment of timelines, stock availability and logistics, so that every order lands within the parameters a project demands.
The larger tasks change with each project. Katie manages procurement for show flats and other schemes, sourcing FF&E and decor to bring the design team's vision to life. She also supports our sales team with pricing, procurement, item lists and tenders, and is working with us to streamline our operational procedures through new software and AI tools.

"The heart of my role is communication," says Katie, and it shows in how many hands a single project passes through. She is in constant contact with colleagues across design, sales, logistics, finance, stock and ordering, and our installation teams, because a scheme only succeeds when every one of those teams is working from the same page.
Katie works most closely with our design team, collaborating daily with Alessio and Mariana, offering sales and coordination support that evolves with every project. Externally, she partners with designers, suppliers and developers, bringing the same clarity to each conversation.
For the people specifying our collections, that continuity matters. Design intent is only as strong as the process that carries it through to site.
Asked to choose a favourite from our collection, Katie goes straight to the Santiago sideboard with bar section, in dark oak and brown ceramic. Designed by Morten Georgsen, it pairs a warm oak veneer with ceramic fronts and slim matt black legs, and conceals a refined bar area with a mirror and integrated lighting.
"I can see people gathered around this sideboard, preparing drinks, or looking through games, as it can serve as a functional centrepiece of a living area," she says.
It is a view we share. In a residential scheme or a shared amenity space, a considered sideboard does the quiet work of making a room feel lived in, adding storage, texture and a natural gathering point in a single piece. As Katie puts it: "To me, a piece like this really makes a house feel like a home."
Outside work, Katie is happiest outdoors, whether hiking, walking through the countryside, reading in the park or gardening. She also loves cooking, painting, concerts and time with friends, and she's a keen traveller.
This Christmas she is heading home to Canada, where she plans to ski, ice skate and spend time with her family.
